CW6163B/6180B/6194 Conventional Horizontal Lathe Series

The CW6163B/6180B/6194 series of conventional horizontal lathes are primarily designed for turning internal and external cylindrical surfaces, conical surfaces, and other rotating parts. They are capable of machining various standard metric, inch, module, and diametral pitch threads, as well as broaching oil grooves and keyways.

This series of lathes features the following characteristics:

1. Reinforced Bed Structure:
   The sidewalls of the bed are reinforced with double ribs. The internal rib structure combines box-type and inclined rib designs, resulting in higher rigidity compared to typical lathes. This ensures stable precision and enables heavy-duty cutting.
2. Simplified Slide Carriage Operation:
   The slide carriage is equipped with a rapid traverse mechanism and is operated with a single-hand lever for intuitive control. Users can choose between hydraulic or manual mechanical control for spindle forward/reverse rotation and braking.
3. Wear-Resistant Guideways:
   The carriage guideways are lined with bonded “TSF” wear-resistant soft belt material for enhanced durability.
4. Versatile Tool Post Options:
   Based on user requirements, the compound rest can be set for automatic feed. The top slide can be motor-driven independently to turn short tapers, or used in combination with the longitudinal feed to turn long tapers.
